Rental Terms and Contract

This contract binds “Renter” and Hammer & Strings LLC to the terms listed below. Rental is not confirmed until this contract is signed and returned to Hammer & Strings LLC. Rental Fee must be paid within 72 hours of invoice to guarantee rental. An invoice will be emailed to the address you provide on the form. Any changes or cancellations must be made 72 hours before the rental start time for a full refund.

Rental Fee:

*If you are renting the Hall in the months of April, May, or December, there will be a $35 surcharge added to your total fee.*

Rental fee is $135 for the first 90 mins, which is the minimum rental time. For additional time, the cost is $35 per 30 mins. The rental time includes all set up, warm up, recital and reception time. Please be precise with your timing to be courteous of other teachers and events that may be scheduled in the Hall. Cancellations must be made in writing to recitalhall@hammerandstrings.com. If you are within the 72 hour cancellation period, you will receive a 50% refund.

A host will be assigned to you for your event. The week of your event, you will receive an email with that host’s contact information. Please feel free to contact them or email recitalhall@hammerandstrings.com with any questions about your time in the hall. 

Event Details:

Our 9’ Bösendorfer concert grand piano will be on stage at the time of the event unless you specified you would like the 7’ Kawai instead. Please inform us if you have changed your mind about the piano you selected on the form! Seating is provided and will be set up. Both pianos can be available for use on the stage for duets and concertos. To use the 2nd piano, there is an additional fee of $35. 

Reception Requirements:

Our covered, outdoor reception area is at your disposal during the event if you would like to bring snacks/beverages to be served to your guests. A small table is provided. No food/drink are allowed inside the Recital Hall. It is your responsibility to make sure your guests know this rule. No alcohol/tobacco is allowed on the premises at any time. You will be expected to leave the Recital Hall in a respectable manner. Please pick up your trash, and do not leave food on the premises. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of a minimum of $35 for infractions of this rule.
