Naomi, a native of upstate New York, embarked on a journey that led her westward in pursuit of her passion for film scoring. With a strong foundation in music education, she began teaching music fundamentals, theory, composition, and introductory piano in 2007, for several years with the Huntington Beach School district and through one on one instruction. Her diverse teaching experience spans from young students as little as 4 years old to seniors, showcasing her adaptability and dedication to fostering musical talents across generations.

Having graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College's School of Music, Naomi holds a degree in composition with a focus on string bass. Her commitment to honing her craft extended to the Bard College School of Music, where she successfully completed a summer program in conducting and composition. Naomi's ability as both a composer and performer has taken her around the world, including tours in Ireland and Carnegie Hall during her time at Ithaca College. She received second place in the Hockett Music Composition Award during her tenure, further highlighting her growth during her time of educational pursuit.

Naomi's artistic journey flourished through collaboration with various chamber ensembles, where her original compositions took center stage. She also found ways to express herself musically as a bassist, contributing to groups like the Ulster College Community Band, Saddleback Church, and the Suny New Paltz Orchestra, among others. Outside the realm of music, Naomi finds solace in her love for the outdoors and her feline companions. She also enjoys painting and writing children’s literature during moments of leisure, rounding out the profile of a multifaceted artist and educator.
