Kyler Reese - Pianist, Composer, and Educator

Kyler Reese began her musical journey in Mesa, Arizona, where she started studying classical piano at the age of 8. Over the years, she has accompanied for both vocalist and instrumentalists, played for ballet, and competed and placed in various state and national competitions.

In addition to her accomplishments as a pianist, Kyler has been a dedicated music educator since the age of 13, teaching students ranging from ages 4 to 65. Her teaching experience is complemented by her work as a composer, creating original piano pieces, choral arrangements, vocal compositions, and piano adaptations of well-loved melodies from movie soundtracks, church hymns, and Christmas medleys.

Kyler’s unique and broad musical interests and classically trained background enables her to make a fun and engaging environment for students with varying musical ambitions. She not only teaches the fundamentals of technic necessary to excel but also principals of improvisation and ear training.

Currently, Kyler is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance at Arizona State University with a full scholarship, studying under Dr. Baruch Meir. Her graduation is scheduled upcoming in the Fall of 2025. She dreams of pursuing her studies at Juilliard, where she hopes to further refine her niche, and expand her musical horizons.
