Come experience one of the most beloved styles of vocal music! Art songs have long been the perfect combination of music and literature, and in this class we explore some of the most beloved art songs of all time. By focusing on your developing 6-9th grade voice, Ms. Jamie teaches you in this art song class both in a small group and one on one! The student will be assigned a personal solo and also learn several group songs that will be performed in a recital at the end of the semester. You will learn challenging harmonies and explore the beautiful style of art song!
The class meets Wednesdays from 5:00-5:50pm from August to May.
Because this is a year long class, the registration deadline for 2024-2025 school year is August 3rd. However, if you would like to register AFTER the deadline, please call our office at 480-687-5518 to see if we still have a seat open for you.
