Come experience one of the most beloved styles of vocal music. Art songs have long been the perfect combination of music and literature, and in this class we explore some of the most beloved art songs of all time.
Focusing on your developing 6th through 9th grade voice, Ms. Carlie teaches this art song class both in a small group and one on one. Each student is assigned a personal solo and also practices several group songs that are performed in a recital at the end of the semester. Students dive into challenging harmonies and discover the beauty of the art song style.
The Spring semester registration deadline is January 8. After that date, classes with no registrations are cancelled, but you can still enroll late in any open class with prorated tuition. To register after the deadline, email the office at admin@hammerandstrings.com to see whether a seat is open.
