Value Stack

What’s actually included.

Most East Valley music schools charge $115-$200 per month. Here’s what the extra gets you at the Conservatory.

  • Masters-credentialed faculty, every teacher holds an MM, DMA, or equivalent.
  • Performance-grade instruments in every studio, including our signature $250K piano.
  • Monitored studios, every private room is on camera; footage on parent request.
  • Recital program, twice-yearly full recitals + quarterly studio recitals at no extra cost.
  • Masterclass visits, guest artists from major U.S. conservatories throughout the year.
  • Competition & audition prep access (Conservatory Track).
  • Progress videos on request, recording of your child’s lesson any time you ask.
  • Chamber cohort placement, paired peer ensembles, coached by faculty.
  • Audition & college application planning for high-school students.
  • Campus access, free parking, student/family lounge, practice rooms by reservation.

If any of that would be an extra charge somewhere else, that’s why the Conservatory costs what it costs.

Scholarship Pathway

The Conservatory Fellowship.

The most promising students in our nonprofit sister program, Hammer & Strings Academy, are invited each year to continue training at the Conservatory on full or partial scholarship. The Fellowship is need-and-merit based. If your family is currently enrolled in Academy programming and the teacher has invited your student to apply, start here.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I visit before committing?

Yes, the consultation is a campus visit. You’ll see the studios, meet a teacher, and try a short lesson before making any financial commitment.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Tuition is billed monthly. We ask for 30 days’ notice before discontinuing.

What is the audition process?

Beginners don’t audition, the consultation is a readiness check, not a gate. For students applying to the Conservatory Track or placing at an intermediate/advanced level, we schedule a short playing audition (10-15 minutes) as part of the consultation.

Do you offer financial aid outside of the Fellowship?

The Conservatory Fellowship, drawn from Academy students, is the primary pathway. Occasional need-based partial scholarships are available at the director’s discretion; ask during consultation.

What if my child is under 5?

We start most instruments at 5 or 6. For children 3-4, we typically refer families to the Academy’s early-childhood programs until readiness.

Do you accept adult students?

Absolutely. Adult beginners and returning players are welcome, many of our most fulfilling studios are half adults.

Ready when you are.
